Dillinger's grave attracting crowds due to "Public Enemies" movie

INDIANAPOLIS (WKOW) -- Crowds of people are heading to John Dillinger's grave in anticipation of the Johnny Depp gangster movie Public Enemies based on his life.

Public Enemies opens nationwide on Wednesday, July 1.

Dillinger was buried in Crown Hill Cemetary back in 1934.

Those who run the cemetary say over the years they've had to replace Dillinger's gravestone several times because people chip away pieces of it  to take as souvenirs.
