Madison, WI -
Wednesday afternoon several former UW football players worked out in front of NFL scouts at the McClain Center on the UW campus. Tight end Garrett Graham, safety Chris Maragos and defensive lineman O'Brien Schofield were among the former Badgers taking part.
Schofield is still rehabbing from a torn ACL, so his workout was limited. But it was a very important day for guys like Maragos and former UW linebacker Jaevery McFadden who were not invited to the recent NFL combine in Indianapolis. Maragos feels like he has an advantage -- he's been working with former Badger and current New York Jets safety Jim Leonhard to prepare for these workouts and, hopefully, a future in the NFL.
