MADISON (WKOW) --- March 26th is purple day which brings epilepsy awareness worldwide. The whole week bakeries across the country join in the fight to raise money with the Great Purple Cupcake Project. I met up with the owners up Cupcakes-A-Go-Go in Verona to learn how to make their purple vanilla cupcakes and hear more about the project.
If you want to help support epilepsy awareness you can buy a purple cupcake. All profits go to the Anita Kaufmann Foundation.
You can find purple cupcakes for sale at the Java Den at 1022 W. Johnson Street. Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Or visit Golden Days Bakery at 950 W. Main Street in Sun Prairie. Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
