Former UW walk-on Chris Maragos, was not drafted in the 2010 NFL Draft, but he has signed a free agent deal with the San Francisco 49ers according to his agent. We first reported the deal early Saturday evening.
Maragos's agent says San Francisco is a "great place" for Chris. In a phone interview tonight, Maragos said he was disappointed to not get drafted but is now out to prove everyone wrong.
He also said he's used to being passed over, walking on at 2 different schools in his college career.
Maragos had 4 interceptions for the Badgers last year and was a big part of a team that surprised many by winning the Champs Sports Bowl.
