WISCONSIN DELLS (WKOW)-- The Academy Awards are one of the most-watched television events of the year. Other than who won, the other hot topic from Sunday night is what they were wearing and how they looked.
Hollywood is known for glitz and glamour and also defying the aging process.
Well, you don't have to be a movie star or live in California to look like a million bucks.
Diana henry shows us how.
"The curving hallways are another element of the Feng Shui design," said Carla.
Carla Minsky, Communications Manager at Sundara Inn & Spa in Wisconsin Dells took us on a tour.
"So, this is our largest suite and it's on 2 floors," said Carla. "It's a great girlfriend getaway or mother/daughter getaway."
The suites have spacious bathrooms, so you can have that spa-like experience without ever leaving your room.
And guests are encouraged to leave a memory in the room journal. You can also take in the brisk, winter air at their year-round heated outdoor infinity pool.
Sundara has had it's share of celebrities.
"I've been contacted multiple times by InStyle magazine and People magazine asking who's stayed here," said Carla.
You can bet a few celebrities have donned a rob and relaxed while doing the purifying bath ritual before heading in for a spa treatment.
Most complaints as we age center around these guys. Some people turn to botox, collagen injections and even the face lift. But not everyone is comfortable going under the knife or likes needles. Well, Sundara in the Wisconsin Dells has the beauty secrets of the celebrities.
As we age our muscles forget where they should be and let gravity and the environment take control.
"I thought this was a gimmick at first," said Rose. "Then I saw what it did and it's for real. I even brought my mom in and if it works on her, it will work for any body."
Rose treated me like a star, showing me Sundara's latest spa service called the Red Carpet Face-lift Facial.
Why is it called the Red Carpet facial? I asked.
"Because it's what everybody gets before walking the Red Carpet," said Rose. "There's celebrities who own these machines."
For 45 minutes, Rose pampered my face, electrifying and zapping away the harsher reality of growing older.
"Botox paralyzes, where as this re-educates. Both make you seem and appear younger, but this is a little more naturally," said Rose.
The facial face lift uses microbes to re-educate your muscles.
"It increaseS ATP which is really an energy for your muscles, for your body and it increases that production by about 500% and as we age, as that muscle decides they're not going to work as well and start to sag, that ATP brings it back to where it should be," said Rose.
