MILWAUKEE (AP) - Josh Harrison homered and drove in a career-high five runs, leading the Pittsburgh Pirates over the Milwaukee Brewers 8-3 Friday night. Ryan Braun's two-run homer in the first inning gave Milwaukee a 2-0 lead. It was his 16th home run of the season, but just his second since July 22 as he's been slowed by a sore thumb.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns and Eddie Lacy ran for a first-quarter score in the Green Bay Packers' 31-21 preseason victory Friday night over the Oakland Raiders. The Packers' Julius Peppers recorded his first sack of the preseason, and the Raiders' offense struggled with new quarterback Matt Schaub.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Oakland Raiders linebacker Sio Moore was taken off the field on a stretcher with a neck injury after getting hurt in the second quarter of a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. Moore moved his legs back and forth while face down on the field after pursuing running back DuJuan Harris. It appeared Moore may have been hit in the head.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Mike Fiers is making an impression filling in for the injured Matt Garza in the Milwaukee Brewers' starting rotation. Fiers is 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA in three starts since being called up from the minors two weeks ago. Garza is on the disabled list with a strained muscle in his rib cage. Fiers has 25 strikeouts and three walks in that span for the NL Central leaders.
