WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and SportsCar vs. semi crash; one man injured

MILTON TOWNSHIP (WKOW) - A man is hospitalized after a car vs. semi crash in Rock County.
Sheriff's deputies say it happened just before 9 Thursday morning on E. Highway 59 near N. Clear Lake Rd in Milton Township.
Investigators say a car driven by 39-year-old Scott Kurcz of Schaumburg, Illinois turned left into the path of the westbound truck. Krucz was pinned in his car and then taken by Med Flight to UW Hospital in Madison.
Officials say they don't know the extent of his injuries at this time. The semi driver was not injured.

Two weeks ago, the judge blocked funding for embryonic stem cell research, citing an amendment that prohibits the use of taxpayer money in work that destroys an embryo.
