FRIENDSHIP (WKOW) -- A man and a woman are facing multiple charges after authorities found more than 190 neglected animals on their property.
The Adams County Sheriff's Department responded to a complaint on Wednesday of possible animal abuse on the 3400 block of 9th Ave. in the Township of Springfield.
Upon further investigation, deputies found dozens of neglected animals including 2 horses, 37 dogs, 7 guinea pigs, 1 ferret, 13 cats, and 133 rabbits.
Jess and Tina Kolb were both arrested on 10 counts Mistreatment to Animals as well as 3 counts of Neglecting a Child.
This case remains under investigation as well as recovery efforts, placement, and medical treatment for the animals.
