Authorities looking for suspect in Subway restaurant robbery

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery on the city's east side.

At approximately 10:05pm on Monday, February 8th, Subway located at 4419 Pflaum Road was robbed. The suspect was armed with a silver handgun. He ordered the employees into the freezer and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a blue winter coat with a small white emblem on the back and white tennis shoes. The suspect was wearing a mask covering the lower portion of his face.

If you have any information about this crime or can identify this suspect, please contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014 or text "Dane" and your message to CRIMES (274637).

Individuals contacting Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
