MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Republican candidate for governor, Scott Walker is getting some help from a well-connected former governor.
Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor, brother of former president George W. Bush and son of former president George Bush, was in Milwaukee Monday campaigning for Walker.
Walker says he is glad to have Jeb Bush campaigning for him because in Florida, Bush brought greater accountability to public schools and lowered taxes.
"The states that have cut taxes are the states where jobs have increased," Walker said. "The states that have raised taxes are the state that have seen job loss."
Walker and Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett are each leading their parties in the polls for Wisconsin governor.
