Man escapes car fire on I-39 near Madison

MADISON (WKOW) -- A man escaped unharmed after his car caught fire on the interstate.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says this happened on southbound I-39 between Highways 51 and 151 near Madison.  Viewer Tina Murray sent us video and pictures.  In those pictures, you can see the car was fully engulfed in flames.

One lane of the interstate was shut down for about 30 minutes while crews put out the fire and removed the car.
