Another weekend snow storm headed for southern Wisconsin

MADISON (WKOW) -- A strong winter storm is currently making it's way through the nation's midsection.

With this system a mix of rain, sleet, and snow will develop tonight, and then this mix will change to all snow on Sunday morning with continued snowfall through early Sunday night that could be heavy at times.

Columbia County and areas south can expect snow accumulations to total 2-5", and areas north of Columbia County will see 1-3".

The far southwest counties in Wisconsin can expect slightly heavier snow accumulations of 4-7" by Sunday night.

Expect travel conditions to be quite dangerous with slick roads, reduced visibilities and windy conditions persisting from late tonight through early Monday morning.
