WASHINGTON (WKOW) Federal regulators filed lawsuits Thursday against several companies they say are behind the National wave of spam "Robo calls" that warn people the car warranties are expiring and offer new services.
Officials say more than one billion calls have been placed.
The Federal Trade Commission is seeking injunctions, forcing the companies to return any money received from the calls.
