Selection Process and Awards

A panel of judges will review the nominations and decisions will be made based on information submitted and verified.

The selection process is multi-tiered. First, a group of finalists will be chosen from the general nomination pool, then a an individual will be chosen each month to receive a Jefferson Award medallion. From our 12 recipients, one or two individuals will be chosen to represent the Southern Wisconsin area during an awards ceremony.

All medallists will be recognized on 27 News and www.wkow.com.

Limitations

Judges' decision is final. We are not responsible for postal delays. If a winner declines the award, an alternate will be chosen.
