MADISON (WKOW) -- If you are having a hard time finding a job, there are several places around Madison that may be able to help you out.
Starting June 25th the Madison Public Library, Madison Senior Center, and the UW Madison Writing Center will offer bi-weekly workshops for job seekers. Those workshops will be held at the Central Library on Mifflin Street.
Trained personnel will help people write resumes and cover letters, search and apply for jobs online, and set-up free email accounts. The sessions will take place on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 1-4 p.m. though the middle of August. Reduced hours may be available through November.
Interested job seekers may register for half-hour training sessions by calling 266-6350. Drop-ins are welcome and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
