MADISON (AP) -- Michigan's governor says General Motors is "poised" to make a decision on where it will produce a new line of small cars.
GM will reopen one of its three idle plants for that line. Those plants are in Michigan, Tennessee, and Janesville, Wisconsin.
GM says building the subcompact at one of the plants will preserve about 1,200 jobs.
