MADISON (WKOW)--Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle might have crossed the line with one of his vetoes in the state budget he signed on Monday.
He combined parts of three sentences to create a new one. That's called a "Frankenstein Veto".
Last year, Wisconsin residents voted to ban the practice.
The veto dealt with a study of the state's mental health facilities.
The budget writing committee is being told to seek legal advice on how to handle the situation.
