Mark Neumann officially enters Governor's race

MADISON (WKOW) - A small business owner and former Congressman has officially entered the 2010 race for Governor.

Mark Neumann filed his paperwork Wednesday.

Neumann owns a homebuilding company and is the co-chairman of Educational Enterprises, a non-profit that runs three Hope Schools in Milwaukee and a public charter school in Arizona.

In 1994, Neumann was elected to represent the 1st Congressional District in Wisconsin and was re-elected in 1996.  Neumann ran for the U.S. Senate in 1998.

"I'm running for Governor because I believe the state's best years are ahead of us and I want to provide vision for the future of our state," said Neumann.
