MONONA (WKOW) -- A contest at a 4th of July festival is expected to draw people from all over the Midwest.
It's "The Wife Carrying Contest," where you could win your wife's weight in beer.
Organizers people come from as far as Ohio.
Not to mention rides for the kids, an art fair, and fireworks Saturday night.
And it's all part of the Monona Community Festival.
"We probably got about 25 to 30 couples that are entered in that. They come from as far away as Ohio and Michigan to enter in this," says organizer Jim Bisbee.
The wife carrying contest will be Saturday night at 6:30pm, and fireworks at dusk.
And all proceeds from the festival to go Monona Community and local charities.
