MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen raised $160,000 in campaign cash over the first six months of the year.
Campaign finance reports released Monday show Van Hollen spent nearly $80,000 and had $214,250 in the bank as of June 30.
Van Hollen, a Republican, is expected to run for a second term next year. No one has officially declared a run against him, although former state Department of Natural Resources Secretary Scott Hassett has said he's mulling a challenge.
State Government Accountability Board records didn't show any campaign finance reports for Hassett as of Monday afternoon.
