Illinois man arrested in Milton for computer sex crime
MILTON (WKOW) -- According to the Milton Police Department, a Joliet, Ill., man was taken into custody on charges of child enticement, using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, and exposing a child to harmful materials. All charges are felonies.
The arrest happened Monday at about 9:00 p.m. in a public parking lot in the 700 block of S. Janesville Street in the city of Milton.
The Milton Police Department's involvement with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force lead to the arrest, which was part of a four-month investigation. During the course of the investigation, police say 36-year-old Michael D. Johnson was using the computer to entice what he believed was a 15-year-old girl into sexual activity.
