Man arrested for allegedly peeping in downtown windows

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police arrested a man early Monday morning for disorderly conduct, after someone allegedly caught him peeping into windows downtown.

Officers were called to the 100 block of North Hancock after a 25-year-old man spotted a suspicious person peering into windows. The witness saw the man putting his face up to a pair of apartment windows and stare for several minutes at a time into each.

Officers arrested a 50-year-old Pardeeville man a short time later, on tentative charges of Disorderly Conduct. The suspect denies peeping in any windows.
