MADISON (WKOW) - The man accused of killing two Jefferson County teens, nearly 30-years ago, is set to arrive in Wisconsin on Wednesday.
Edward Edwards was arrested on July 30 in Louisville, Kentucky. Authorities say health reasons have delayed his extradition.
The 76-year-old is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday in Jefferson County.
Edwards is charged with two counts of first degree murder. Investigators say he killed high school sweethears Timothy Hack and Kelly Drew in August of 1980.
Police say DNA evidence linked him to the murders. Edwards faces life in prison if convicted.
