Woman injured on Madison's west side, suspect caught

MADISON (WKOW) - Police say two young children were inside a residence at the time of a domestic incident on Madison's west side.

Police responded to a home on the 6800 block of Raymond Road and found a victim inside, along with two young kids.

They were not injured are staying with family.

The victim, a woman, was conscious and told police her husband beat her.

She is still recovering from significant injuries but police say she is in stable condition.

A suspect was arrested after a short pursuit and is in custody.

MADISON (WKOW) - Police responded to a domestic dispute on Madison's west side.

Police say the victim was conscious when they arrived at the home in the 6800 block of Raymond Road, and told them her husband assaulted her.

Police say she suffered significant injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.

Police say the suspect fled in a vehicle and after a brief car pursuit, the man turned himself in at St. Mary's Hospital.

He is currently in police custody.

Police say when they arrived to the home on Raymond Road around 7 o'clock on Wednesday night, they found that the victim had suffered significant injuries.

Police say the suspect fled in a vehicle but was detained a short time later.
