SACRAMENTO, Calif. (WKOW) - The University of California will face major budget cuts after government stimulus money runs out.
That's according to the University's President Mark Yudof.
He warned there will be about $600 million less to run one of the country's largest university systems.
In July, California lawmakers slashed nearly $3 billion dollars from the state's community colleges, the 23-campus California State University and the 10-campus UC system.
UC raised tuition 9 percent and made about $300 in cuts.
