MADISON (WKOW) - An Iowa County chiropractor is suspended for misconduct at her clinic.
The Chiropractic Examining Board gave Judith Yager of Cobb a one-year suspension starting September 1st.
The CEB says Yager practiced without a license in early 2005, used a banned device to treat her patients. Yager is also accused of aiding and abetting unlicensed practice by bringing a chiropractor who wasn't licensed in Wisconsin to adjust patients in her clinic.
The Board said Yager lied during an interview about an ongoing romantic and sexual relationship she had with a patient in 2000.
"Ms. Yager engaged in practice outside the proper boundaries of her license in many ways and needs to be held accountable," said Secretary Jackson in announcing the disciplinary action.
Yager may petition the CEB for a stay of the suspension after six months provided she complies with the terms of the CEB order.
