MADISON (WKOW) ---Taste of Madison 2009 is here and what better way to celebrate Madison food than to try one of the recipes at this year's Taste.
I met with Bill Horzuesky from Bluephies.
Their chocolate chip cookie dough egg rolls were a hit at the 2008 Taste and got 2nd in Gourmet Desserts. This year they made the honorable mention list.
Their kitchen was busy as they prepared to make thousands for the Taste weekend. They make so many they have stopped counting. They now have turned to counting 5 gallon buckets filled with hundreds of them.
When they make the recipe normally, they use 16 pounds of butter at a time, but for us they made a small batch so it's easier to make at home.
