Deputies investigate string of burglaries in Township of LaValle
TOWNSHIP OF LAVALLE (WKOW) - The Sauk County Sheriff's Department is looking for suspects connected to a string of burglaries in the Township of LaValle Friday morning.
Authorities say they received a call about a burglary at Prestige Landsacape. When they arrived, investigators discovered a laptop computer and the register damaged with an undisclosed amount of cash missing.
About an hour later, dispatch received a call that Bare Necessities had also been burglarized. Deputies found the door was forced open and the suspect or suspects stole around 20 cases of beer, several bottles of liquor and cash.
At about 8:15 a.m. the Sauk County Sheriff's Department received a third burglary call, this time at the American Legion. A search found that the gun cabinet had been forced open and six firearms and cash were stolen.
Investigators believe all three burglaries are connected.
