Wardens use Facebook to nab poachers

MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin wardens say Facebook was an integral part of catching two alleged poachers.

Wardens got a tip late last year that a video entitled "Hunting ... Muktown style" was on Facebook.

State Department of Natural Resources Warden Rick Reed says the video showed 25-year-old Adam Frame of Mukwonago and 24-year-old Dustin Porter of Sullivan shining and shooting at deer in the town of Mukwonago in 2007. No deer were hit.

Frame pleaded guilty to shining animals and possessing a firearm in August. He was ordered to pay $314 in forfeitures or spend six days in jail.

In a Waukesha County Circuit Court, Porter faces misdemeanor count of shining animals. His case is still pending.
