UPDATE: Surveillance photo released in Middleton Armed Robbery - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD (WKOW)-- The Dane County Sheriff's Department is investigating an armed robbery Wednesday night.

It happened about 9, at the Mobil station on County Highway K and Highway 12 in the town of Springfield, just north of Middleton.

No one was hurt.

The suspect or suspects took off.

Witnesses gave officials a description of a vehicle and plates.

Authorities found a vehicle matching the descpription at a nearby home, but left that location without making any arrests.
