Man charged with killing jogger gets hearing about being framed
APPLETON (WKOW) -- The man charged with killing a jogger will have a chance to convince a judge he was framed.
Judge Harold Froehlich from Outagamie County refused to grant a new trial for Kenneth Hudson for the murder of Shanna Van Dyn Hoven.
Judge Froehlich, however, will allow Hudson a hearing about claims that he was denied the right to an attorney, that Kaukauna police intentionally erased the tape of his interrogation and that testimony from a crime lab analyst was inappropriate because it wasn't disclosed to the defense before trial.
Several other claims by Hudson were denied.
In June of 2000, a 19-year-ol Kaukauna woman was killed while jogging.
