MADISON (WKOW) -- The trial for a Dodge Correctional inmate accused of assisting in his cellmate's suicide will be delayed.
Joshua Walters is accused of encouraging and helping Adam Peterson to hang himself with a bed sheet at the prison in January Peterson was serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to the murder of Madison resident Joel Marino in 2008.
An aide to the Dodge County Circuit Court judge confirmed the trial has been delayed but a new trial date has not yet been set.
Walters' attorney asked for more time, to allow a private investigator to finish reviewing the case.
