Man arrested for Madison gas station robbery


MADISON (WKOW) -- Monona Police arrest a suspected robber early Thursday morning.

24-year-old Patrick Curtin is accused of strong armed robbery and resisting an officer.

According to Madison Police, Curtin stole cash from the Open Pantry store on the 1400-block of Pflaum Road just after 3:30 a.m. No one was hurt. The clerk says the robber did not show a weapon.

Monona PD noticed a man matching Curtin's description in the 5400 block of Monona Drive, shortly after the robbery. A foot pursuit began, with officers eventually catching up with Curtin.
