MADISON (WKOW) -- The Egg Genie electric egg cooker promises to cook up to 7 eggs at the same time.
27 News tested the product at Pat O'Malley's Jet Room at the Wisconsin Aviation Building.
The Jet Room is known for its breakfasts, so we challenged the cook to a friendly taste test for poached eggs.
The Egg Genie's four poached eggs cooked in about three minutes. They were cooked to a medium and tasted very good. It was a little difficult to get the first egg out of the container, but after we learned to be gentle and carefully scoop it out, the next three were perfectly shaped.
Call for Action Reporter Dan Cassuto thought the Egg Genie's eggs tasted as just good as the poached eggs from the Jet Room chef. They were both delicious.
We give the Egg Genie 4.5 stars out of 5.
