MENOMONEE FALLS (WKOW) -- Kohl's is pointing to tight inventory control and the sale of its more exclusive brands for a 21 percent rise in third quarter profit.
Kohl's says its profit rose to $193 million, with revenue up 7 percent to $4.05 billion, thanks to an expansion of exclusive brands like Simply Vera Vera Wang and Dana Buchman and a cost-cutting business model.
Sales in stores open at least one year rose 2 percent, a key measurement of a retailer's health.
