FORT HOOD, Texas (WKOW) -- The Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood last week may be paralyzed from the waist down, according to his attorney.
John Galligan said Friday that Maj. Nadal Hasan says he feels nothing in his legs and doctors say the condition may be permanent.
Galligan spoke with Hasan Thursday in the intensive care unit at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, where Hasan has been since police officers responding to last week's rampage shot Hasan.
Hasan faces 13 counts of premeditated murder in the attack that also left 29 people wounded.
