Man leaves suspicious object downtown, under observation
MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police have a 45-year-old man under observation after an incident that caused the brief closure of the 400 block of West Wilson Street.
The incident happened around 11:15 a.m. Friday. Police temporarily blocked the intersection of Wilson and Broom streets after a man placed a suspicious looking device on top of a traffic cone in the roadway.
