11 H1N1 deaths in last week

MADISON (WKOW) -- State health officials say 11 more people in Wisconsin died in the past week due to complications associated with the H1N1 flu virus.

The Department of Health Services said Wednesday those deaths being the number of H1N1 deaths this year in Wisconsin to 31.

The deaths include two each in Dane and Portage counties, and single cases in Jefferson, Kenosha, Marathon, Oconto, Ozaukee, Racine and Waupaca counties.

The department said swine flu cases are modestly decreasing across the state, but the presence of the virus still remains widespread.
