SAN ANTONIO (WKOW) -- The alleged shooter at Fort Hood will have his first court hearing Saturday in his hospital room.
The attorney for Major Nidal Hasan said he was notified by prosecutors about the hearing at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
The hearing will decide whether Hasan should be jailed before his trial begins or stay in the hospital. His lawyer says his client should remain hospitalized because he is paralyzed and needs medical attention.
Hasan has been there since the November 5th shooting in a processing center at fort hood killing 13 people, including two from Wisconsin. Another 30 people were injured, including many from the Madison based 467th Medical Detachment.
