MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect in a robbery this morning of the UW Credit Union in the 4100 block of Commercial Avenue on Madison's eastside.

A police spokesperson says a female suspect entered the branch at approximately 10:05 a.m. Monday, November 23rd, and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The bandit then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the crime.

The robbery suspect is described as a black female, 5'05" tall, wearing a large tan or burnt orange coat with a fur-lined hood and a similar colored baseball cap with an image of a skull on it.

If you have any information, please contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014 or text "Dane" and your message to CRIMES (274637). Police say you can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
