MADISON (WKOW) -- Three more people in Wisconsin have died from the H1N1 virus, the state Department of Health Services (DHS) announced Thursday.
This brings the total number of deaths from the virus to 43 people statewide since September.
Still, the DHS says Wisconsin is seeing the number of H1N1 cases drop overall. Officials continue to caution that another wave of the virus may occur in the next few months.
821 people in Wisconsin have been hospitalized because of the H1N1 virus since September.
Two of the three people who recently died from the virus were from Sheboygan County and the third from West Allis.
