MADISON (WKOW) -- Local runners were literally dashing through the snow Saturday for the annual Jingle Bell Run.
This marked the holiday fundraiser's 24th year. Participants had the choice of running or walking in support of the Arthritis Foundation's quest for a cure.
There are more than one million people in Wisconsin are living arthritis.
"We understand just how tough it can be to get through life with arthritis, and we've watched our daughter struggle and get support from the Arthritis Foundation," says Janette Klaehn.
This year's goal was to raise $100,000.
