WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKOW) -- For people who have been at the back of the vaccination line, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says, "Now it's your turn."
Nearly half of states, including Wisconsin, have lifted restrictions on who can get vaccinated. The federal government says more will do so soon with the additional supplies.
Health officials are worried the H1N1 virus will worsen later in the winter season.
Since September, 854 people in Wisconsin have been hospitalized due to the flu virus. The state-wide death toll stands at 47, since cases began occurring in April.
At last word, Wisconsin had received more than 1.6 million doses of the vaccine.
