ASPEN, Colo. (WKOW) -- The wife of actor Charlie Sheen told police in Aspen he held her down on a bed, put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her after she told him she wanted to get a divorce.
An arrest warrant affidavit released Monday quotes Brooke Mueller Sheen as saying her husband told her, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."
According to the affidavit, Charlie Sheen denied threatening her with a knife.
In a 911 call released Monday, a woman who identifies herself as Sheen's wife says she feared for her life.
Police arrested the 44-year-old actor Christmas Day on suspicion of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
Sheen is currently free on $8,500 bond.
