MILWAUKEE (WKOW)-- A Milwaukee man who served 23 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted is looking to be repaid for his time served.
Robert Lee Stinson was convicted in 1985 in the death of a 63-year-old Milwaukee women.
Last January, the Wisconsin Innocence Project secured his release, using DNA technology to prove his innocence.
The 45-year-old man is now suing the city of Milwaukee, two police officers and a dentist who testified that his teeth matched the bite marks on the victim's body.
Milwaukee's city attorney is asking the judge to throw out the lawsuit.
The attorney denies the officers conspired to frame Stinson.
