Walworth County drug agents make arrests in grow house bust

WALWORTH COUNTY (WKOW) -- Deputies from the Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit seized 159 marijuana plants, along with 150 grams of processed marijuana, scales, packaging materials, and two computers on Friday.

Deputies, working with the Linn Township, Walworth, and Fontana Police Departments, executed a search warrant at N1518 Geneva Avenue and N1510 Geneva Avenue in the Town of Linn on a suspected grow house.

The plants, processed marijuana, scales, packaging materials, and computers were taken from the N1518 Geneva Avenue residence. Deputies found and seized $2,070 in US currency, drug paraphernalia, assorted documents and a 2002 Ford Explorer at the N1510 residence.

Fred G. Rickel was arrested and taken to jail for manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Amy Rickel will be referred to the Walworth County District Attorney's Office on manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Both suspects reside at N1518 Geneva Avenue in the Town of Linn.
