PASADENA, Calif. (WKOW) -- ABC delivered a late holiday gift to some of its fans, by picking up second seasons of "Modern Family," "Cougar Town" and "The Middle."
The network's programming chief, Stephen McPherson, made the announcement Tuesday.
Industry insiders say ABC took a risk last fall scheduling four brand-new comedies on Wednesday nights. The fourth, Kelsey Grammar's "Hank," is already off the air.
McPherson also shared plans for a new "Bachelor" spinoff series to hit airwaves this summer, called "Bachelor Pad."
