KENOSHA (WKOW) -- Police in Kenosha are searching for a man who they say used a fake bomb to rob a bank.
Authorities say the suspect entered an M&I Bank and demanded money from the teller. He set a small case on the counter, claiming it was a bomb, and said he had a detonator.
The robber fled on foot with the cash.
Authorities evacuated the bank and nearby homes while the Kenosha County bomb squad checked out the situation. The case turned out to be empty.
