NEW YORK (WKOW) -- New York City's alleged skinniest house was sold for $2.1 million.
The red brick building in Greenwich Village is only 9.5 feet wide and 42 feet wide. It was built in 1873 in an alley between two homes.
Last August, the town house was listed on sale for $2.7 million with two bedrooms and two baths. It last sold in 2000 for $1.6 million.
Poet Edna St. Vincent Millay and anthropologist Margaret Mead once lived in the home, according to a plaque outside.
