On Monday night, teachers, professionals, religious leaders gathered to celebrate Martin Luther King Day with a dinner at the Edgewater Hotel.
Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton, and Senator Lena Taylor addressed the group on the importance of diversity, and the contribution of Martin Luther King, Jr. to our society.
The Niagara Foundation, which is dedicated to fostering intercultural relations, common cross-cultural values, such as understanding, tolerance, respect, and peace hosted the event.
